Tajikistan South Ring

Overview: Compared to other regions, Southern Tajikistan may seem “flat”, accounting for almost half of all irrigated agricultural land in Tajikistan. Of course, there are mountains here too, but not so high. And this has its advantages: there are many more roads in the south of Tajikistan than, say, in other regions. You can go on a road trip along one highway and return to Dushanbe along another, making a kind of circle around the most densely populated region of the country. Let’s do just that.
